About the Library

There are 3 main sections to the Library: Fiction, Non-Fiction & Reference.

Fiction Books are storybooks, which are ‘made up’. It’s handy if you know the name of the author because this makes them easier to find. We classify books in genres and we have lots for you to choose from.

Non-fiction Books are information books. These books are categorised by Dewey numbers. Here you can find out about all types of factual things like Geography, Technology, Animals, Science, The Arts, History and many many more.

Reference Books cannot be borrowed and can only be used in the LRC. It’s because they are large and expensive to buy. You can always photocopy the information you need but always ask permission first.
