  HOMEWORK

Homework is seen as an important part of the learning process. It should spring naturally from work in the classroom. Every pupil should receive homework on a regular basis. All pupils have a Student Organiser or planner in which all homework set should be recorded. Parents are asked to check the organiser regularly.

Each subject teacher is responsible for setting homework and checking the quality of work. Every class below the Sixth Form has a homework timetable. In Years 10 and 11 homework is particularly important for success on G.C.S.E. courses, as much of the work throughout the two years counts towards the final grade.
