Today was D-Day for Operation Christmas Child 2011; the Advent charity for Y7 and Y8. This year we collected 92 boxes for the appeal and we have found out that they are bound for Kurdistan. Pupils have worked in form groups, in pairs or on their own and the boxes were beatifully presented and contained lots of thoughtful gifts which will make all the difference to a child's Christmas.
I would like to thank all pupils, parents, staff members and my form group - 7.3, for helping to contribute to the appeal this year and helped us reflect our College motto - 'In Christ We Serve' - in this case helping to serve members of our global community who are not as lucky as we may be.
